Working with Hand-Me-Down Yarn

A couple of months ago, one of my cousins adopted a baby, and since I’d made toys for my other cousin’s babies (see “Meet Carl”), it was only fair to make one for this new arrival too.

I found a pattern in a magazine that I’d used once before with some success. It’s the “Toy Ball” from the winter ’03-’04 edition of Family Circle Easy Knitting.
