Easter Egg Hunt!

My grandma made the crocheted basket and the two plastic canvas eggs.

Here’s the pattern for the sweater:

Materials: eyelash yarn, vintage Caron Dazzle-aire yarn, and size 10 needles

Cast on 30 stitches with eyelash yarn and dazzle held together

Knit 3 rows

Break off eyelash yarn

Work 6  rows stockinette stitch, starting with a knit row

Row 7: Knit 1, knit 2 together, knit to last 3 stitches, knit 2 together, knit 1

Row 8: Purl 1, purl 2 together, purl to last 3 stitches, purl 2 together, purl 1

Row 9: Knit 1, knit 2 together, knit 2 together, knit to last 5 stitches, knit 2 together, knit 2 together, knit 1

Row 10: Purl 1, purl 2 together, purl to last 3 stitches, purl 2 together, purl 1

Row 11: Knit 1, knit 2 together, knit to last 3 stitches, knit 2 together, knit 1

Rows 12-16: Work in straight stockinette stitch starting with a purl row

Row 17: Knit 4, cast off 10, knit 4

With right (attached) 4 stitches, work 5 rows stockinette stitch, starting with a purl row

Bind off

Re-attach yarn to left 4 stitches and work 5 rows stockinette stitch, starting with a purl row

Right side:

                Cast on 15 stitches with dazzle and eyelash yarn held together

                Knit 3 rows

                Break off eyelash yarn

                Rows 4-17: Work in stockinette stitch, starting with a knit row

                Row 18: Knit 1, knit 2 together, knit 2, cast off 10

                Work 6 rows stockinette stitch with remaining 4 stitches, starting with a purl row

                Bind off

Left side:

                Cast on 15 stitches with dazzle and eyelash yarn held together

                Knit 3 rows

                Break off eyelash yarn

                Rows 4-17: Work in stockinette stitch, starting with a  knit row

                Row 18: Cast off 10, knit 2, knit 2 together, knit 1

Re-attach yarn to remaining 4 stitches and work 6 rows stockinette stitch, starting with a purl row

Bind off

Sleeves (Make 2)

                With eyelash yarn and dazzle held together, loosely cast on 22 stitches

                Knit 2 Rows

                Work 11 rows stockinette stitch, starting with a purl row

                Bind off

Finishing: Sew side seams 2 ¾ inches up from the bottom. Sew shoulder seams. Sew on sleeves, pinning them first so they end up the right way around. Crochet around the neckline and back opening for a smooth, even edge. Sew on three snaps for closure in the back.
